'Clasp' Wall Hanging - Black Patina + Polished Brass

The Clasp Wall Hanging is a study in the simplicity of giving three-dimensional form to flat circular shapes. The interlocking conical rings are a sculptural form that turns flat wall art into an unexpected presence. Its contrasting finishes suspend warm glows of polished brass reminiscent of the sun against the depth of the matte black patina.

Materials: Made entirely of brass components, each meticulously sanded, buffed, and polished and then finished with a durable lacquer. The deep, naturally nuanced black is achieved through the reaction of brass dipped in blackening patina prior to finishing.

Installation + Care: Intended for indoor use. Exposure to the elements will cause the natural brass patina process to accelerate, and it could damage the black patina finish. Wipe with a dry cloth.
